REFLECTION.

Today I have a little prayer/ affirmation that I want to share with you. I hope it helps you even if it’s in the smallest way.
You know I am learning to love myself right? (If you didn’t know now you do) after years of the world telling me I couldn’t and I am dedicating my life to doing this. I want to invest in me.
This journey has been like walking on a thorny hill by foot, but I am enjoying the view and I have lots of stories to share.

As we start a new week, may you spread love and be love. Remind yourself to be happy and smile. There is so much to be grateful for and a lot to cry about, you choose.

Lord, thank you for your love.
Thank you for teaching me how to love myself by loving me.
This is the slowest journey I have ever been on but the progress is worth the while, worth the wait and the travel.
Thank you that you do not give up on me, never have and will never give up on me.
Teach me not to give up on myself on this journey. Help me to remember every time I fall that I have the potential to get back up again.
Thank you Lord for teaching me forgiveness by forgiving me my sins and enabling me to forgive others and myself.
I forgive myself for not loving myself enough, for not believing in myself, for doubting myself and letting other people tell me who I was instead of finding out who I was in you.
Thank you for reminding me of my worth in you. For showing me my capabilities, for showing me that I am enough.
Thank you for this life that you have given me. Thank you for my soul and the peace that fills me.
I know who I am and I am confident in this knowledge.
